Snow Patrol drummer Jonny Quinn has been forced to pull out of the band’s upcoming Europe and Australia tour after breaking his arm.
The sticksman suffered the injury while snowboarding in the Alps and has drafted in an old friend as a replacement.
Former Therapy drummer and Cranberries collaborator Graham Hopkins will stand in for Quinn when their European stint begins in Offenbach on March 4.
It’s not the first time Snow Patrol have been blighted by ailments on tour. Frontman Gary Lightbody lost his voice in America earlier this year, while bassist Paul Wilson was forced to drop out of a string of European dates.
