From the fertile soil of Brooklyn the neo-soul collective Herbivores have sprouted. They share a fabulous new single today in the form of 'Kinda Like A Crush'. It's part of a self-titled debut EP, also out today.

The lead single is a mellow, sultry soul track with just enough early-00's R'n'B pop vibes to make it extra addictive. Notice threads of Anderson .Paak running through the middle of the tune, as well as touches of Justin Timberlake's Justified.

Luscious guitars, giddy vocals and ecstatic electronic production make this one a real dream:

The single and the EP that follows it was mastered by Joe Lambert (LCD Soundsystem), but Herbivores consist of NYC musicians Bel-Ami, Redddaz, Misha 'Silky' Savage and Will Sacks.

"The Herbivores sound reflects the stages of a romance as seasons of the year," they said.

Another EP will arrive in autumn.
