More about:

Folk wunderkind Jake Bugg is back to top notch form today with 'Kiss Like The Sun', a barnstomping new single that heralds the coming of an album made in conjunction with Post Malone producer Andrew Watt.

Slide guitar abounds on the new single, which is a lean cut of sunny optimisim with ties to Bugg's excellent eponymous debut album back in 2012. Seven years later, and Bugg's voice is as distinctive as ever, painting over a definite flavour of heartland American rock. Hear it:

Bugg has switched record labels for his forthcoming new album, and has worked with Andrew Watt extensively under new representation at RCA Records. On the collaboration, Bugg said: "I love working with Andrew Watt and I'm really pleased with the sound of this track. I wanted to write something that was fun and a bit light-hearted."

Earlier in 2019, Bugg featured on a Camelphat track titled 'Be Someone' and joined them on stage at California festival Coachella. See Jake Bugg with his band in the UK this month on the following dates:

17 - Glasgow, Barrowland Ballroom
19 - Leeds, O2 Academy
20 - Manchester, Academy
21 - London, Roundhouse
