The Strokes are set to perform a free gig a the South By Southwest festival (SXSW) in Texas, it's been confirmed.
The band will perform songs from their new album 'Angles' at Lady Bird Lake, Austin on March 7.
The gig will be free and open to anyone, according to a statement from the New York group's management company.
The Strokes release their new album 'Angles', which is the follow-up to 2006's 'First Impressions Of Earth', on March 17.
The first single from the album, 'Under Cover Of Darkness', is out now. The band are expected to announce details of some UK tour dates shortly.
