Think About Life triggered a stage invasion as they closed the opening day of M for Montreal in Canada last night (November 19).
The local four-piece impressed a capacity crowd at Cabaret/Studio Juste with tracks from their second album ‘Family’.
Singer Martin Cesar was on energetic form throughout the 30-minute set, bounding across the stage with nonstop enthusiasm.
And at one point the frontman even disappeared from view to grab a bag full of balloons, which he then hurled into the audience.

Status Quo To Headline GuilFest 2010 Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt close the festival...

Status Quo have been confirmed as the first headliners of GuilFest 2010.
The rock veterans, who have sold 118million records since they first hit the charts in 1967, will close the Surrey festival on Sunday July 18th.
1,000 early bird tickets are on sale for the event until Christmas Eve via the official GuilFest website.
Guilfest takes place from July 16-18, 2010 at Stoke Park in Guildford. This year's event was headlined by Brian Wilson, The Levellers and Blondie.

Fraudsters 'To Target 2010 Festivals With Fake Wristbands' An industry adviser warns...

Con artists are set to target festivals next summer by selling fake wristbands, an industry expert claims.
Speaking at the UK Festival Awards conference in London today, Reg Walker from Idrim Security who works with Reading, V, T in the Park and Isle of Wight issued a stark warning.
Walker alleged there was evidence that fraudsters staged “test runs” in 2009 with a view to hit the festivals on a larger scale next year.
He explained that around 100 fake wristbands were seized at Reading Festival in August and they were worryingly realistic.

Download Festival 2010 Early Bird Tickets On Sale Tomorrow Organisers are promising 'something special'...

Download Festival 2010 early bird tickets will go on sale from 9am tomorrow morning (Thursday, November 19).
Organisers have confirmed that a select number of tickets will be available at the 2009 price of £135 plus £25 for camping.
The rock extravaganza will take place from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th June next year once again at Donington Park in Leicestershire.
2010 marks the 30th anniversary of rock events at Donington so organisers are promising “something special”.

Wilco, The Low Anthem For The End of the Road Festival 2010 The first names are announced...

Wilco have been confirmed as the headliners for The End of the Road Festival 2010.
Also confirmed for the September festival are The Low Anthem, The Mountain Goats, Diane Cluck, Anders Griffin, The Wilderness of Manitoba and AA Bondy.
For the first time, the event will feature a Tipi Tent, a new area called The Local Stage and a worskshop programme.
The End of the Road Festival will once again at Larmer Tree Gardens in Dorset from 10 – 12 September 2010.

Pixies To Headline Primavera Sound 2010 They join Pavement at the Spanish festival...

Pixies have been confirmed as the headliners of Primavera Sound Festival 2010.
Frank Black and co. are the second act to be confirmed for the Barcelona festival following the announcement of fellow music icons Pavement.
Primavera Sound Festival takes place from May 27th to 29th at the Parc del Forum in the Spanish city.
Tickets are on sale now, as always check the Gigwise Gig Tickets section for availability.

Editors, Doves, The Enemy To Play 2010 Snowbombing Festival Initial line up details are revealed...

Editors, Doves and The Enemy are among the bands scheduled to appear at next year's Snowbombing festival in Austria.
The event, which runs from April 5-10, will also feature performances from Friendly Fires, Vitalic and De La Soul.
A host of DJs, including James Zabiela, Andy C & MC GQ and Fake Blood, are also on the line up.
The festival takes place in the mountainous Mayrhofen region of Austria and offers a combination of live music and extreme sports.

Queen's Brian May says he would perform with Robert Plant at Glastonbury “at the drop of a hat”.
Last week, Led Zeppelin legend Plant revealed that he was in talks with Michael Eavis about performing at Worthy Farm but he wasn't sure who it would be with.
Speaking at last night's Classic Rock Awards at the Park Hotel in London, May ruled out a new guise of Queen performing at Glastonbury but said he'd be up for playing with Robert Plant.
He told BBC6music: "I’d play with Robert any time and when we have played together he’s wonderful. Robert is a rock god and an inspiration to us all, always will be.

Jarvis Cocker: 'Pulp Aren't Reforming For Glastonbury' He claims his words were 'twisted'...

Jarvis Cocker has denied that Pulp are reforming for Glastonbury 2010, claiming his quote was “twisted”.
The 46-year-old indie icon spoke to The People at the weekend saying he would like to play the festival next year, but denies he inferred it would be with Pulp.
He tells Channel 4's Teletext: "I can categorically tell Teletext that Pulp have no plans to get back together.
"Someone asked me if I fancied playing at the 40th anniversary of Glastonbury I said yes, they twisted that into a 'Pulp reform' story. It's not true."

Pavement To Headline Primavera Sound Festival 2010 In Barcelona next May...

Pavement have been confirmed as the first headliners at next year's Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona.
The recently reformed US band will top the bill on the opening day of the festival, which runs from May 27-29 2010.
It is the group's first confirmed date in mainland Europe as part of their worldwide reunion tour.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Pavement will also play two dates in London on May 11 and 12.
...more »The shows come two days before the band are due to curate and headline the All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Minehead.
