Pet Shop Boys Cover Coldplay On Christmas EP Ahead of festive UK tour...

The Pet Shop Boys are to release a festive EP, entitled 'Christmas', on December 14.
The five-track EP includes a new version of 'It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas', which was originally released in 1997 exclusively to the band's fan club.
A re-imagining of Madness' 'My Girl' and a new version of 'All Over The World' from Pet Shop Boys' latest album 'Yes' is also included on the tracklisting.
A cover of Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida' also features on the EP.
The EP's release will precede the band's UK tour, which gets udner way in Glasgow on December 17.

Vampire Weekend Extend 2010 UK Tour With New London Date After tickets sell out...

Vampire Weekend have extended their 2010 UK with an additional date in London.
The band will now play the capital's Brxton Academy on February 16 and 17.
Tickets for the initial show on the 16th sold out this morning.

Passion Pit Announce 2010 UK And Ireland Tour Tickets on sale this Friday...

Passion Pit have unveiled details of a UK and Ireland tour, which gets under way in Bristol on March 3 next year.
The seven-date jaunt also includes shows in Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow.
It concludes with an all ages gig at Olympia in Dublin on March 13.
Meanwhile, the US band are due to release their next single, 'Little Secrets', on December 14.

Hot Chip Announce 2010 UK Tour And New Album Details They'll hit the road in February...

Hot Chip are to return to the road next February with a 12-date UK tour.
The dance act are due to begin the jaunt in Glasgow on February 12, before calling at venues in Nottingham and Bournemouth.
The tour will conclude with two dates at London's Brixton Academy on February 26 and 27.
Hot Chip are currently putting the finishing touches on their third album, which is due to be released early next year.

Placebo are giving away a free Tour Bundle of songs ahead of their live dates in the UK and Ireland.

Buoyed by their 2009 commercial success, Shingai Shoniwa and co. will play sizeable venues on their 12 date jaunt.

Future Of The Left will set off on a UK tour next month, it's been announced.
The band will begin the seven-date jaunt in Norwich on November 28 before calling at venues in Portsmouth and Birmingham.
The tour concludes at the Thekla in Bristol on December 5.

The Prodigy have announced details of their biggest ever solo show in the UK.
The dance outfit will play a massive show at Milton Keynes Bowl on July 24 along with an array of special guests.
Supporting the Braintree trio will be Pendulum, Enter Shikari, Chase and Status, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, while Zane Lowe will be manning the decks.
Tickets go on sale from 9.30am this coming Friday (October 30) and will be available through the Gigwise Gig Tickets section.

Lostprophets have announced details of a huge UK tour for February and March 2010.
The Welsh rockers will play 19 shows kicking off at Leicester DeMontfort Hall on February 4 and culminating in Port Talbot on March 1
Tickets go on sale from 9am this coming Friday (October 30) and will be available via the Gigwise Gig Tickets section.
The shows are in support of Lostprophets' fourth studio album 'The Betrayed' which is released on January 18.
