Daft Punk have moved to quash reports that they connected to the band The Third Twin.
Last week, rumours circulated that the French duo were set to headline the Arenal festival in Spain in August under the name.
It came after promoters issued a press release claiming The Third Twin were “directly connected” to Daft Punk.
But a statement from Daft Punk's management company has ruled out any connection between to two acts.
The statement, issued to Billboard, said: “This is completely untrue. Recent press reports are based on rumors instead of facts.
“Daft Punk is in no way associated with The Third Twin and the promoters for the Arenal Sound Festival are promoting the show under false pretenses."
Arenal Sound runs from August 4-7 in Valencia, Spain.
