The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas has said that the band's new album will be “fantastic”.
The band are currently halfway through recording the follow-up to 2006's 'First Impressions Of Earth'.
Updating fans on the their progress, Casablancas told XFM: “It’s been a labour!. It’s all good.
“I was going to make a joke and say it was a labour of necessity, but no, it’s going to be fantastic.”
As previously reported on Gigwise, Casablancas revealed earlier this month that The Strokes new album won't be released until March 2011.
The band got back together last month to play the Isle of Wight festival and Rockness in Scotland.
