Aerosmith's Steven Tyler has revealed that the band's new album 'is almost done'.
The singer said that work on the follow-up to 2004's 'Honkin On Bobo' is going well and they hope to have it finished in the next two months.
''Two months doing that [recording] and we're almost there. We're going to spend another month in LA,'' Tyler told Rolling Stone.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the album was stalled whilst Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton underwent 'radical' cancer surgery.
The musician was diagnosed with cancer of the tongue back in 2006 but was cleared of the disease after undergoing radiotherapy for the condition.
The album was delayed for a number of year's due to frontman Steven Tyler's decision to join the judging panel on American Idol.
