Well Christmas is done and dusted for yet another year and as a result the nation has now sunk a couple of inches further into the ocean, a direct result of the population being a few billion pounds heavier.
Now with new year it's time to shake off that weight with a diet of three days of raving, give or take your own particular provocation and levels of stamina.
