More about:

Blessing your screens and ears today: the brand new single from TV Priest. 'Slideshow' is the second single to be taken from the band's debut album Uppers, coming only months after they burst onto the scene.

Scratching, caterwauling guitars and a masculine voice are all this tune need to make certain that fans of Viagra Boys, IDLES and maybe even the decadence of Editors will love this new slice of post-punk heaven.

It follows 'This Island', a song that confirmed TV Priest as "a band with one foot in the future and one foot in post-punk's storied past". May's 'Runner Up' and debut single 'House of York' introduced the band back in spring.

"‘Slideshow’ is about feeling mediated, manipulated, engaged, buoyed and repulsed in equal measures in our relationship to information, digital culture, and the algorithmic pace of 21st-century life," the band explained of 'Slideshow'.

Catch the band on tour before the album drops:

27 - Manchester, YES Basement
28 - London, Shacklewell Arms
29 - Bristol, Rough Trade
30 - Brighton, The Prince Albert
31 - Southampton, Heartbreakers
