The first raft of acts for Jay-Z's festival Made In America have been announced, including headline act Pearl Jam.
The iconic grunge band will close day one of the two day ‘Made In America’ festival with Jay-Z himself finishing the other.
Other acts confirmed to appear include Dirty Projectors, Rita Ora and Passion Pit plus D'Angelo, Odd Future, Maybach Music (featuring Rick Ross, Wale, Meek Mill), Janelle Monae, Santigold and Skrillex.
'99 Problems' rapper Jay-Z joked last week that he will try to get Obama to perform at the event this September. "I'm gonna give him a call and I'm gonna try to get him to perform – do a little rendition of Al Green - but I doubt it," the rapper explained. "I think that opens up the political season. He'll be so far into helping the world that he probably won't have time, but I'm absolutely going to ask him."
Jay-Z's 'Made In America' takes place at Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park on 1-2 September, 2012.
