Jack White has said that he could be ready to release a second solo album sooner rather than later.
The former White Stripes, Raconteurs and Dead Weather star released his debut solo effort 'Blunderbuss' this week and told Zane Lowe that he already has songs in place for its follow up.
Revealing that he's sitting on 12 potential new tracks, White told the Radio 1 DJ that: "We had enough for an album at one point, but I just kept going…I've got another 12 songs that I haven't finished yet."
Adding: "There's songs that White Stripes never really played live, or Raconteurs never really got that into, or songs that I brought to the table in a band - songs like 'Buffalo' - and now I can elaborate on them".
White played his first London solo date this Monday, which Gigwise was there to witness. It has also been confirmed that White will score the upcoming Disney movie The Lone Ranger.
