Tommy Martin, a session musician who played saxophone on tour with The Killers, has committed suicide.
The musician, 33, was found at his home in Las Vegas on Monday (April 23). Reuters reports that he died of a self-inflicted gun-shot to the head.
Martin toured with The Killers between 2008-2009 and appears on the albums 'Sam's Town' and 'Day & Age'.
Posting their tributes on Twitter, The Killers said: "Last night we lost our friend Thomas Marth.
"Our prayers are with his family. There's a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well, Tommy."
The Killers return to the UK in August to play the V Festival.
