Following the unexpected release of current single 'R U Mine' last month, Arctic Monkeys have announced details of a new track, due for release later this month.
The new tune, 'Electricity', will appear as the b-side to 'R U Mine' and both will be available exclusively on limited purple vinyl as part of this year's Record Store Day on 21 April, 2012. Nice of them to give us some notice this time around ;)
The band's frontman, Alex Turner, recently revealed that the band had started thinking about recording tracks for their next album, but were in no rush to complete anything.
"We've messed around in sound checks, but I'm not gonna meet a deadline," he said in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine. "It's not like I need to write, though I want a head start for the next time around."
