Madonna has slammed M.I.A for her recent Super Bowl incident.
NBC were forced to issue a full apology after M.I.A raised her middle finger during the half time Super Bowl performance last Sunday night (February 5).
Minaj and MIA joined the singer onstage for 'Give Me All Your Luvin'', which saw MIA appearing to raise her middle finger to the camera at the end of her rap. The camera's quickly cut away.
MTV News reports that Madonna spoke to Ryan Seacrest about the incident, saying: 'I was really surprised. I didn't know anything about it. I wasn't happy about it.
'I understand it's punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy and positivity; it seemed negative.
She added: 'It's such a teenager, irrelevant thing to do. ... There was such a feeling of love and unity there. What was the point? It was just out of place.'
