Karl Langerfeld has apologised to Adele after labelling the singer a little 'too fat'.
Lagerfeld was criticised after he labelled singer Adele as a 'little too fat' - he only seems to know the anorexic types.
In a no holds barred interview the fashion designer quickly backtracked to add that she has a 'beautiful face'.
Asked my The Metro what he thinks of Lana Del Rey, Lagerfeld replied: ''I prefer Adele and Florence Welch. But as a modern singer she is not bad.The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice.''
After receieving a huge backlash from the interview, Lagerfeld has issued an apology: "I'd like to say to Adele that I am your biggest admirer.
"Sometimes when you take a sentence out it changes the meaning of the thought.
"Adele is my favourite singer and I am a great admirer of her. I lost over 30 kilos 10 years ago and know how it feels when the press is mean to you in regards to your appearance.
"Adele is a beautiful girl."
