Jay-Z and Beyonce could have their daughter's name 'Blue Ivy' officially trademarked.
The music couple, who welcomed their first child at the beginning of 2012, have reportedly applied to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on January 26 to own the name 'Blue Ivy',
According to the Washington Post the couple decided to trademark the name after learning that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office had turned down two applications to use the name 'Blue Ivy'.
Meanwhile, Jay-Z performed his new track 'Glory' for the first time last night (January 6) during a benefit concert in New York
The rapper performed the track, dedicated to his newborn daughter Blue Ivy, at the first of two shows at Carnegie Hall in aid of the United Way of New York City.
MTV reports the rapper told the audience after performing the track: "I didn't think I was gonna make it through that one, that was tough.
