The band join Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty as the trio of headliners for the three day event.
Petty closes the first night, on June 22, with Springsteen bringing the festival to a close on June 23, with Pearl Jam in between.

In preparation, the band will play a one-off show at Manchester's MEN Arena on June 20.
Pearl Jam are currently working on their tenth studio album, which will serve as the follow-up to 2009's Backspacer.
