Bruce Springsteen will be a featured speaker at this year's SXSW Festival, it has been revealed.
According to the Telegraph, Springsteen will speak at the festival in March about his career in music.
South By Southwest organisers have released a statement which reads: "His [Springsteen's] recordings include time-tested classics of rock and acoustic-based albums celebrating folk traditions. His love shows are truly fervent celebrations of the communal power of music.
"As SXSW fosters connection and communication in the music community, this event will undoubtedly further those aims in an unique conference session."
The festival, which took place this year in Austin from March 11-20, traditionally mixes new live music with industry conferences.
Acts for this year's festival included Bombay Bicycle Club, Chapel Club, The Naked and Famous and Pulled Apart By Horses.
