Google has launched a new music store for US-based Android customers, which offers exclusives from the likes of Coldplay, Rolling Stones and Pearl Jam.
The beta service offers users access to upload their personal music collections, up to 20,000 songs, stream and download music.
Major labels Sony Music, Universal and EMI have teamed up with Google to allow users to download more than 13 million tracks from a variety of artists.
Several independent labels are also thought to have struck deals with Google.
Announcing the launch on the Official Google Blog, Senior Vice President of Mobile said:
''Google Music helps you spend more time listening to your collection and less time managing it. And don’t forget to turn your speakers up to eleven.''
There is also a large amount of exclusive content secured by Google, including unseen conecrt footage from The Rolling Stones a live recording of Coldplay's recent concert in Madrid and tracks from Busta Rhymes and Chris Brown.
