Avril Lavigne has spoken out about a recent incident in which the popstar was attacked by five people in a hotel bar.
The attack, which happened over the weekend, saw five people assault the singer after the Canadian was involved in an argument with a woman at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.
Lavigne has taken to Twitter to state that she has suffered a black eye, a bloody nose as well as other minor other injuries as a result.
Avril wrote:
"I don't fight. I don't believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is ****ed."
Adding: "As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer."
