The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn has bulldozed its way to the top of the UK box office chart on its opening weekend.
The 3D revival of Herge's boy adventurer, brought to the screen by director Steven Spielberg and producer Peter Jackson, took £6.7 million, comfortably beating last week's topper Paranormal Activity 3.
Other entries in the top ten include Johnny English Reborn, Contagion and The Lion King 3D.
The second highest new entry was Bollywood epic Ra. One, which came in sixth, beating social drama The Help and George Clooney's political thriller The Ides of March.
