Rihanna was forced to cancel her show in Sweden last night (October 31) after she was rushed to hospital with a flu virus.
The singer, who is on the final leg of her Loud tour, was due to play in Malmo, Sweden when she was taken to hospital and hooked up to a IV drip.
In a statement she said: "I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo, Sweden. I was so excited to perform for you all."
The 23-year-old added: "It would have been a great time... so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I'm really disappointed I couldn't be there".
Rihanna apologised to fans and posted a picture of herself in hospital over Twitter.
Rihanna’s live dates, which have been extended on several occasions, are in support of recent album 'Loud', which topped the UK album chart.
