UB40 frontman Ali Campbell has been declared as bankrupt, it has been announced.
Campbell now joins Brian Travers, Jimmy Brown, Terence Oswald and Norman Hassa - all confirmed to be in a state of bankruptcy last week.
The declaration took place at Bournemouth county court in June according to The Sunday Mercury.
Campbell's financial difficulties have been attributed to his departure from the UB40 in 2008 alongside the failure of the band's DEP International record label.
Last week a spokesperson for Campbell commented on the band's situation, stating : "It is ironic that the very week they celebrate their first gig they have been declared bankrupt, after administration began in 2006, vindicating both Ali and Mickey Virtue's decision to leave UB40."
