Apple's iPhone 4S has been on sale since 8.00 this morning (Oct 14), but customers are already registering their complaint about the new voice-activated personal assistant, Siri.
It is being reported that the new feature has not yet been linked to local listings and maps, as Apple are yet to sign a deal securing this information.
Tech Digest suggests that navigation features have yet to be programmed into Siri, meaning that customers in the UK can't ask it directional questions like the US version can handle.
Instead, owners of the new smartphone have to make do with Google Maps for plotting routes and searching for directions.
Apple are expecting record first day sales for the iPhone 4S, and O2 has confirmed that it is already outselling the record sales seen for the iPhone 4 in 2010.
Amongst the 200 new features are an eight-megapixel camera, A5 dual core processor and Apple's new - and also troubled - iOS 5 operating system.
