Will.I.Am: Black Eyed Peas Are Not Breaking Up

The Black Eyed Peas are not planning to split up, Will.I.Am has confirmed

The producer has dismissed rumours that the band are planning to release a statement to fans later this week announcing their break-up.

Will.i.am took to Twitter to set the record straight with fans: "Why do people listen to rumours...Me and @apl_de created the peas...so...from the creators mouth...We are not breaking up...stop the rumours (sic)."

The news follows the announcement made by the band earlier this week (October 5) that they have pulled out of the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Cardiff, Wales this weekend due to "unavoidable circumstances".

In July, Will.i.am announced that the Black Eyed Peas would go on hiatus after their current tour.
