Vogue editor Anna Wintour has offered a damming review of Kanye West's clothing line - she has refused to speak about it.
The rapper-turned-fashion designer showcased his first women's collection at Paris Fashion Week last weekend.
It received a mixed response from critics, with many giving West the benefit of the doubt because it was his first line.
But, according to New York magazine, Wintour was less forgiving, and when asked about West's collection, responded: “Ask someone else.”
West's collection boast everything from a fur rucksack to snakeskin pants, but critics questioned its marketability.
Speaking at the after-party in the French capital, West asked to be spared from overly critical analysis of his collection.
“I thank anybody who came to this party, everybody who supported, everybody who believed, because people thought it was a joke, and maybe people still do, but I can only grow from this point,” he said.
