Cheryl Cole has spoken for the first time about being sacked as a judge on The X Factor USA.
The Girls Aloud star was dropped by Simon Cowell just days into her new role in American earlier this year.
Speaking at the Pride of Britain Awards in London, Cole told BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat she had “no regrets”, adding she “didn't do regrets”.
Cole was reportedly sacked over fears Americans would not be able to understand her Northern accent. She was eventually replaced by Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger.
The singer is currently recording her new album, which is due to be released in the new year.
