Cher Lloyd has been the centre of online abuse after receiving an apparent death threat on Twitter.
The X Factor singer was the subject of abuse after posting happy birthday message to her mum over Twitter.
She wrote: ''Its mamma lloyds birthday!! Love you mum! Xxxx.'
A follower then replied:'shut the f*ck up before I kill your mum in front of you.'
Lloyd the hit back: ''I'm sure you'd go to jail for that and get into deep s*it, come on think about it dumb a*ss.''
Lloyd, who has a reputation for being outspoken, has come under fire since the release of her debut single 'Swagger Jagger'.
In a recent interview, Lloyd said she wanted people to “give her a break”.
