Life Of Agony's Keith Caputo has announced that he is planning to have surgery to become a woman.
The frontman has already begun to refer to himself as 'her' and has told fans of his plans for the sex change.
He revealed the news to fans over Twitter: Male to female transsexuals like me are the women who give up male privilege for femininity! Threaten the patriarchy!"
He added: "Life Of Agony has already gone into isolation and it's got nothing to do with me transitioning [to a woman]."
The metal band have released a total of four albums throughout their 22-year career.
