Liam Gallagher has compared his brother and former Oasis bandmate Noel to Tony Blair.
The singer made the comment about Noel and the ex-British Prime Minister as Beady Eye performed at the Roundhouse in London earlier this week.
After describing his brother as “the Tony Blair of rock’n’roll”, Liam also told fans of Noel not to hold out hope that his forthcoming solo album would sound like Oasis, reports the Daily Star.
“The people that go: ‘Oh, Beady Eye is not Oasis,’ well, Noel’s music ain’t Oasis either,” he said. “It might remind you of it but there’s something missing – f*cking me.”
As previously reported on Gigwise, Noel Gallagher announced yesterday (July 6) that his debut album 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' will be released in October.
