Pete Doherty has pleaded guilty to cocaine possession.
The singer was charged following an inquiry into the death of an amateur filmmaker at a flat in East London in January 2010.
Doherty was granted unconditional bail during an appearance at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday (April 8). He will be sentenced on May 20.
Judge David Radford told Doherty his criminal record was “unattractive”, reports BBC News.
"When someone constantly commits the same offence the law must be made very clear,” Judge Radford told the singer’s lawyer.
“Is your client aware he could face a sentence?"
Robin Whitehead, 27, died while making a documentary about the Libertines and Babyshambles singer.
