Interpol bassist Dave Pajo has quit the band, it's been announced.
Pajo, who joined last year as a replacement for founding member Carlos Dengler, said he wanted to “focus on his family”.
He added: “I will continue to record and perform music, with bands as well as solo, I just won’t be touring as much.”
Interpol's remaining members said Pajo would be replaced by Brad Traux, who has previously performed with Gang Gang Dance and Animal Collective.
Of Pajo's departure, they added: “It’s just an Out-of-the-hotel, Into-the-home sorta thing.”
Interpol are set to return to the UK to play their first dates with their new bassist in March.
