Wild Beasts have announced that their third album will be called 'Smother'.
The band's follow-up to 2009's 'Two Dancers' will be released on May 9 on CD, LP and via digital download.
The ten-track album was written over a six week period in East london and recorded in Wales. 'Smother' was co-produced by the Kendal four-piece and long term collaborator Richard Formby.
As previously reported, Wild Beasts are set to preview the album on a UK tour in May.
The jaunt will kick off at Newcastle's at Gateshead Old Town Hall on May 5 and conclude at Gloucester Guildhall on May 13.
