Biffy Clyro have revealed that Matt Cardle's version of their single was a 'good thing'.
The X Factor winner scored a Christmas number one with a cover of Biffy Clyro's ‘Many Of Horror’, retitled ‘When We Collide’.
"In hindsight, it's a good thing. The Christmas No.1 is a big thing. So is X Factor. There was a lot written about it,'' bassist James Johnston told the Daily Record.
He added: "We think it's a great song. We don't see it taking away anything from our band."
Meanwhile, Unsigned Scottish band The LaFontaines have recorded a mashup of Biffy Clyro's 'Many Of Horror' and Notorious B.I.G.
