Biffy Clyro are set to be named Best British Band at this year's Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Awards in London.
David Munns, chairman of Nordoff Robbins, said Biffy Clyro were “renowned for their explosive live performances, making them a very easy choice in the Best British Band category”.
The band said: “We follow in the footsteps of some great bands who’ve received this award and we couldn’t be happier with this honour.
“Music has been a massive part of our lives – just like it is for all the people Nordoff Robbins help.”
Nordoff Robbins use music to transform the lives of people of all ages all over the UK.
The ceremony takes place at the London Hilton on Park Lane on July 1. Other winners include Annie Lennox, Tinie Tempah and Status Quo.
