Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner has written the soundtrack to an upcoming film directed by Richard Ayoade, it's been reported.
Turner is understood to have worked alongside Simian Mobile Disco's James Ford on the score for Submarine.
Ford also produced the last two Arctic Monkeys albums, while Ayoade has previously directed the band's music videos.
Both the film and the soundtrack are due to be released next year, according to the Daily Star.
As well as directing, Ayoade also stars as Moss in Channel 4's The IT Crowd.
