The Killers have cancelled their entire Asian tour due to “unforeseen circumstances'.
The band's management posted a message on their official website confirming the news today.
It reads:
“The Killers have been forced to cancel their appearances in Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Manila, Tokyo and Seoul due to unforeseen circumstances. The band deeply apologizes to their fans and hope to reschedule their shows in these cities soon. At this time the bands Australian appearances remain scheduled as planned.”
The news comes just days after guitarist Dave Keuning revealed the Las Vegas band were taking an indefinite hiatus once their Australian tour finishes.
He said at the time: "We haven't had a break in quite a while. It's just been touring and making records and on and on and on. It's been like six years just kind of connected together.
“We just want a little bit of time off, just to be myself and do what I want to do for a little bit."
Coupled with the axed shows, the comments will no doubt fuel speculation that the band are splitting up.
