The Killers' Brandon Flowers' Mother 'Dies Of Cancer'

Jean Flowers, the mother of Killers frontman Brandon Flowers, has died at the age of 64, according to reports.

Jean Flowers is believed to have passed away last Thursday following a two-year battle with brain cancer.

The report come just days after The Killers cancelled three live dates in Australia “due to the severity of the illness of a close family member”.

Flowers has yet to release a statement confirming his mother's death.

But Spin magazine reports that memorial services were held earlier this week in Las Vegas, and that Mrs Flowers was buried on Tuesday (February 16).

According to their official website, the Killers are still scheduled to play two more live dates in Australia this weekend.
