Simon Cowell says he wants David Bowie to guest on the next series of The X Factor.
Having already snared Sir Paul McCartney last weekend, the pop mogul told the NME that he has turned his attention to another music icon.
He said: "I'm thinking we should do something for David Bowie. I think that would be good just because he's a great songwriter."
Asked about the prospect of getting Eminem and Dr Dre to appear on the show, Cowell added: "I'd love to have them on as guest judges on a theme which would make them comfortable.
"I've extended the invitation to Eminem already. What did he say? I don't know yet."
Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello says he bears Simon Cowell no ill will.
