A British pensioner has been slapped with an Anti Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) for playing Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Born in the USA’ at an unacceptable volume.
Prosecutors said that officials had received over 100 complaints from local residents about John Norman, 61.
A court heard that Mr Norman had played the song long into the early hours of the morning.
Mr Norman has been given a three week ASBO, a caution usually given to teenagers, which prevents him from playing loud music for three weeks.
A further ban and possible jail term could be imposed if the pensioner fails to comply with the order, reports the Associated Press.
