David Bowie has reportedly given the go-ahead to a musical that will borrow songs from his back-catalogue.
Along with the director Peter Schaufuss, Bowie is to bring the sci-fi film The Man Who Fell To Earth to the stage.
The production will fuse Bowie’s songs with the 1976 film.
It’s understood that Schaufuss plans to open the musical in his native Denmark this autumn.
There has been a renaissance of music inspired shows on stage over recent years with the stories of Queen and Abba becoming must see West End productions.
