Arcade Fire are set to record the soundtrack for the latest film from the director of Donnie Darko.
The band are working with producer Markus Dravs, who worked on Coldplay’s ‘Vivia La Vida’, in Canada on the score.
The film, entitled ‘The Box’, stars Cameron Diaz and James Marsden and is currently in the editing stage.
Director Richard Kelly has previously kept the name of the band working on the soundtrack a secret.
However, producer Dravs let the cat out of the bag when he wrote on his website: "Having finished Coldplay's forthcoming album VivaLaVida - now off to Canada to work with Arcade Fire on a Sound-track for the forth coming Richard Kelly film."
