Musical Statues: Music Icons Immortalised As Sculptures

In March 2008 these lifesize topiary models of The Beatles went on display at Liverpool's South Parkway station as part of the city's Capital Of Culture celebrations. Unfortunately, following an infamous interview with Jonathan Ross in which Ringo Starr said he misses “nothing” about his home city, the drummers tree head was decapitated by angry vandals.
