A toilet once owned by John Lennon is among a collection of Beatles memorabilia set to be auctioned this week.
The blue and white porcelain lavatory was taken from Lennon's Tittenhurst Park home, which he lived in from 1969 to 1972.
The former Beatle gave the toilet to a builder, who stored it at his home for 40 years until his recent death.
It is expected to fetch up to £1,000.
Other items in the sale, which will take place at the 33rd annual Beatles Convention in Liverpool, include a mono-sound copy Lennon's 1968 album with Yoko Ono, 'Two Virgins'.
It is expected to fetch up to £2,500, reports The Telegraph.
Stephen Bailey, the organiser of the auction, said: ''It must be one of the rarest Beatles solo albums to come up for auction.''
Lennon was shot outside his New York home in 1980.
