Editors have revealed that they are ready to start work on their new album.
The band's drummer Edward Lay said the group already had “a couple of demos” to concentrate on when they finish touring next month.
"We want to get involved in writing new music as soon as possible and get into an environment that we all enjoy,” he told BBC 6 Music.
“ I think we have had enough time living with this record to know that we can be stronger and improve our song writing.”
Lay added that the demos were “sounding excellent”.
Editors, who released their last album 'In This Light And On This Evening' last year, performed at last weekend's V Festival.
