Are you fond of romantic movies that follow the enemies-to-lovers trope? Or runway walks?

Or, most importantly, stories of an underdog working hard to reach the heights they deserve?

If yes, then you will like Hudson Williams, the latest talk of the town, for his newly released series and Armani runway walks.

The article will answer all the questions that will impress you, like how old Hudson Williams is, what he did before reaching these heights, and who his parents, partner, and friends are.

Who is Hudson Williams?

As promised, this article has everything you need to know about the latest sensation.

Hudson Williams is a Canadian model and social media personality who has become one of the more compelling faces to emerge from the modeling world in recent years.

Williams recently became one of the most famous faces. From presenting the Golden Globes to walking the runway in Milan Fashion Week, Williams seems to be rising.

However, before this rise, Williams had done his share of hard work as a student, filmmaker, and waiter, which we will discuss further in the article.

Hudson Williams got his big break by playing Shane Hollander in the Crave and HBO Max show ‘Heated Rivalry’, a direct adaptation of Rachel Reid’s ‘Game Changers’, in which Shane is an Asian character.

The director of the show wanted to stay true to the book, and thus, we have Williams as Shane with us.

Early Life of Hudson Williams

Born on February 13, 2001, Williams grew up in Kelowna, British Columbia, before later relocating to Vancouver to pursue his ambitions.

Though Kamloops is a relatively small city, it served as an unexpected backdrop for major Hollywood productions, like ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ and ‘The Last of Us,’ an early sign, perhaps, that the industry was never too far away.

His early filmography is rooted in short films made with friends for Vancouver film competitions, with a creative hunger that was evident long before any spotlight found him.

Hudson Williams’ Parents

Williams’ mother is Korean, and his father has British and Dutch descent. He grew up in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, and is now Canada’s hottest export, according to Vogue.

His parents are believed to have been supportive of his ambitions, even if modeling wasn’t the most conventional career path on offer.

That grounded foundation may well explain the quiet self-assurance he brings to everything he does.

Williams mentioned that his mother gave him the option to either go to a science school or an art school. He chose art since he loves to act, draw, and dance.

The actor, while talking about his father, mentioned that he is a genius but not so much involved in emotions.

Hudson Williams: On-screen Shane Hollander

In his breakout role in a sports romance adapted from Rachel Reid’s ‘Game Changers,’ named ‘Heated Rivalry,’ released in 2025, Williams played the character of Shane Hollander.

Shane is the hockey team captain of the Montreal Metros, who sparks an unexpected romance with his rival, Ilya Rozanov (played by Connor Storrie), and must keep their relationship secret from the public.

Williams received praise for the subtlety of his acting and his ability to convey his character’s inner thoughts, as well as his nuanced, non-stereotypical portrayal of an autistic character, which quickly drew public attention to his art.

He received a nomination for the Canadian Screen Award for Best Lead Performance in a Drama Series.

Hudson Williams: More Than Just Shane Hollander

Hudson Williams has quickly proven that Shane Hollander was just the beginning of a remarkable career.

  • Yaga (February 2026): Joined the cast of the Crave series reimagining the myth of Baba Yaga.
  • Apparatus (March 2026): Cast in a leading role opposite Dylan O’Brien in the Sofia Banzhaf-directed feature film.
  • Laufey’s “Madwoman” (April 2026): Starred opposite the artist in her music video, the same month he became the first non-athlete to front a Peloton campaign.
  • On the World Stage: Alongside co-star Connor Storrie, presented at the Golden Globes and served as a torchbearer at the 2026 Winter Olympics in northern Italy.
  • Back Home: Met Prime Minister Mark Carney at an event promoting the Canadian film and TV industry.

With a TV reimagining, a major feature film, a high-profile music video, and a groundbreaking brand partnership all in the span of months, there’s clearly a great deal more of Hudson Williams’s artistry still to come.

Hudson Williams: The Layers Beneath the Spotlight

Grounded in years of hard work before the industry ever noticed him, Hudson Williams has earned every step of his rise.

His story is shaped by bold creative choices, a work ethic built outside of privilege, and friendships that have grown as genuinely as his profile has.

Here’s a closer look at the moments and milestones defining the man behind the model.

His First Met Gala

Williams made waves at the 2026 Met Gala, arriving in a powder blue Balenciaga suit paired with red and blue eye makeup. The look divided opinion, with fans calling it everything from bold and edgy to outright messy.

His long-term stylist, Aika Flores, supported the conversation, framing the divisive ensemble as part of a natural creative evolution and a willingness to take risks.

Before the Flashbulbs

Waiting tables was where Williams built the work ethic that now defines him. Hospitality is humbling, demanding, and relentless, and it proved to be no bad training ground for someone destined to perform under pressure.

Without industry connections or nepotism to fall back on, he earned his way in one shift at a time, giving his growing fanbase every reason to root for him genuinely.

A Friendship Built on Set

Williams and co-star Connor Storrie, who played his love interest on screen, are best friends in real life. Williams has laughingly acknowledged they could be a “nightmare for HR,” but the bond runs deep.

As he told the Hollywood Reporter, having one of his best friends beside him through it all is “already a luxury that a lot of actors don’t get.”

Hudson Williams: Net Worth and Lifestyle

Hudson Williams’ net worth is estimated between $100,000–$500,000 as of 2026, based on acting contracts and event appearances.

Income stems primarily from television work and brand appearances.

He maintains a grounded, low-key public image with no publicly confirmed details on property, vehicles, or luxury spending, presenting himself as someone focused on craft over celebrity lifestyle.

Great Meeting You, Williams!

New to fame but not to the discipline it demands, Hudson Williams knows his art, his strengths, and exactly what he is working toward.

Backed by the people who matter most, his trajectory feels less like luck and more like inevitability.

Shane Hollander introduced him to the world, but the characters still to come will define him. We cannot wait to see what he does next.

  1. Where did you get the information that he is/was a model? He did one fashion show after he made Heated Rivalry.
Also, Connor was not his best friend until they met while auditioning for Heated Rivalry. They did not know each other before that. Akia Flores is not his long term stylist. She only began working with him after HR ended.
