Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson has criticized INXS for replacing the late Michael Hutchence with a TV reality show winner.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Aussie JD Fortune was named as the new frontman for the rock group earlier this week after being whittled down from thousands of contestants on show ‘Rock Star: INXS’.
But Manson is not happy, saying: "It isn't INXS without Michael Hutchence.
"I feel in life you have to be prepared to let go of something in order for new growth to occur in your life. And I think it is unhealthy to be constantly coming back to recreate the past.
"You should forge forward instead of being sentimental about things that have gone by."
You go girl.
