Aerosmith have started work on their new album, it has been revealed
The band were due to start the work on the follow-up to 2004's 'Honkin On Bobo' later this summer but have entered the studio earlier than expected.
Drummer Joey Kramer revealed the news to fans over Twitter: ''Aerosmith hits the studio with Jack Douglas today. One word bout 1st day n studio 'Inspiring.''
Aerosmith have recently announced an eight-day tour of Japan in aid of the recent earthquake and tsunami.
Meanwhile, Steven Tyler has revealed that his debut solo single was initially written for Aerosmith but rejected by the rest of the group.
